| Abstract: | : | We study optimal matchings under one-sided preferences with flexible quotas. We introduce a new notion of optimality called weak dominance which allows us to capture user requirements. With fixed quotas, a matching that meets input requirements may not exist. We introduce models that permit flexible quotas and investigate weak dominance, rank-maximality, and fairness in these models. We show hardness and algorithmic results for our problems in each of the models for various optimality notions. |
